yesterday i stepped on a rusty nail. It didn’t go in very deeply, but i’m still a little concerned. It doesn’t hurt too badly either, only when pressure is directly applied, fairly lightly. i cleaned it up right after i stepped on it with some iodine and have continued to use the iodine. I could have swore that i had a tetanus shot recently but my doctor claims the last time i had one was when i was 4, i’m now 15. My parents think i should get the shot again since this happened but is it really necessary? It doesn’t even look to bad, although it did bleed when i stepped on it.
oops mistake! i just talked to my mom and she said the last time i got my tetanus was when i was about 9-10ish years old. i had originally asked my dad, who shocker!, got the wrong details. sorry!
