Resolved Question: will my doctor go ahead and do a c section? Any tips on talking him into it?
Posted by adminFeb 22
I am 36 weeks pregnant Today. I have a C-section scheduled for February 12th because I have MS, Extreme Anxiety and fibro Myalgia and an unknown degenerative joint disorder that can not be diagnosed until after pregnancy (MRI, XRay, Etc.)
A few days ago I woke up with a lot of pressure in my lower abdomen, it doesn’t hurt so bad sitting down but standing or changing positions for sitting and standing, and even sleeping puts me in a lot of pain, and I have a HIGH pain tolerance having dealt with my diseases for so many years. I have had some braxton Hicks, but no bloody show yet, Baby has dropped and turned towards my back, I have gestational diabetes that im having a hard time controlling, and baby at todays ultrasound weighed 6lb 6oz. I constantly feel the need to #1 and #2 because of the pressure on my bladder and rectum. I know i have heard that the doc doesn’t want me to go into labor ofcourse since i am having a c-section. I have to see him again on Monday and I was wondering what the chances of him doing ti early might be. the pressure on my lower back has radiated up my spine to my neck, my whole head hurts like having a absest tooth, along with my back feeling like i have whiplash. i don’t know if i can tolerate this for 3 more weeks. My father is also having open heart surgery on the 2nd and so my parents will not be here in case i go into labor during those few days! Scary!!! Anything I might can say to my doc? Do i have the right to ask for him to be taken at 37 wks since thats full term. Any info would be great ladies
