I have little knowledge about astronomy and the universe but I just had quite a thought about the formation of galaxies when looking at the shape of a cyclone.

When these storms are formed it is because of low and high pressures combining. Now could it be the same for galaxy formation in that dark matter and matter collide? Similar patterns? Eye of the storm similar to the black hole of a galaxy? They move across the plane of earth as galaxies move through time and space? Our solar system could even be compared to the size of a water molecule in some cloud..

Why is this pattern so similar?
