The boyfriend of the girl i like broke up with her 4 months ago. I told her how i felt about her a while back and after her break up, she started talking to me more. A couple of months ago i asked her if she feels the same about me, she said she does and she could see a relationship happening but she doesn’t want a relationship right now. We go to different colleges so for the past few months we have been chatting by text almost everyday. School has been really stressful for her lately and she will bring it up, like she wants to talk about it, but then won’t. I don’t know why she does that. I don’t know what to do to give myself the best chance of starting a relationship with her. I don’t want to put a lot of pressure on her but I’m afraid someone else will ask her out and she will say yes and leave me out to dry.

We went to school together since 1st grade but my feelings for her didn’t start until high school. The only problem was, when my feelings changed she was in the relationship that just broke off.
