Open Question: If my dad is 66, and smoked from ages 18-40 (22 years) — how much shorter will his lifespan be?

He has slightly high blood pressure (like 160 over 90) and takes meds for that
and he takes a cholesterol med
and he needs to lose about 20 pounds or so
Will the time he smoked cut his life expectancy?
my question was, does smoking for 20 years cut a person’s life expectancy, even though he quit?
