this is my second child. I was due the 14th this month, I was given cervidil on tuesday and pitosine on wed morning, when there was no change in my cervix (i’m still at two) i was given the cervidil again on wed night, and more pitosine yesterday. the contractions are good, they said the baby is doing well, just that my cervix and my birthing canal wont expand or thin out. so they sent me home and said that i’ll be going in again on monday the 25th to get the cervidil again and if there is still no change, they are going to give me a c-section. My dr is trying to avoid this as much as possible because i have thin blood and high blood pressure. I’ve been told to keep resting on my left side because everything swells up so bad and my blood pressure shoots through the roof when i move around. is there anything i can do that wont beat me up physically (like intercorse) that can maybe convince my body it needs to go with the flow instead of fighting labor.
