…you don’t sign up at the initial open house? They refused to give us the cost of the membership fee over the phone before the meeting, and said we had to come in to get that information. Then once we were there they told us if we didn’t sign up on the spot that we couldn’t ever come back and join. Their reasoning is that they don’t want people at to come to the open house to get their insider pricing and then use it to bargain at regular retail stores.

I’m 90% sure this was just extremely high pressure sales, but I was just wondering if there’s anyone out there who has gone to their open house, not joined, but then joined later?
