By Emily Sanderson – Sept. 30, 2009 GUNNISON — An 11-year-old boy caught doing graffiti timidly walked into youth court behind his mother last spring. “Don’t show him your handcuffs,” his mother warned the bailiff, Jaden James, a junion at Gunnison Valley High School (GVHS) at the time. “He’s afraid of them.” James told the story with compassion for the young student.
