okay so the last time i had sex was December 16, 2009 before that my last period was on December 9, 2009 I usually get my period every 26 days but this time I got my period 1 date late on January 5, 2010. I am concern because my period came down normal for about two days and with normal i mean with blood clots i usually get my period for about 6 days or so and this time it was for 5 days and like i said before only 2 days with blood clots and the other 3 days i was rarely bleeding and the only thing i did find normal on this cycle was that i had really bad cramps…that same day i had an appointment with my doctor and she toke a pregnancy test it came out negative i also had high blood pressure do to the pain…but what worries me is that my period was not as long as usual and I’ve been having stomachs I threw up once i also have dahria and the stomachs comes and goes…so does any one think i might be pregnant i also get tired a lot and some times nauseaua…

Open Question: My blood pressure is 149 over 65 pulse 74 what does this mean?

I use to have a blood pressure of 120 over 70 and they said it was good. Now a few years latter I have this higher reading. Does this mean I have a health issue?
I did not exercise and I was sitting when I took the reading. I am 67 years of age and am not real active. I sit at work a lot.

Open Question: Why is my health going to Hell all of a sudden?

Last week my doctor informed me of high cholesterol and type 2 diabetes. I’ve been working so hard on my diet and blood pressure. I’ve become depressed over this and my wife is trying to ease my mind by telling me to stay on track. None of this makes sense to me and I’m sick of hearing bad news when I’m trying so hard to stay healthy. Should i jump out a window and end it all, or keep on track as my wife suggest?
I don’t eat fried foods. We boil and bake most of our meals. My bp was sky high the day my blood was drawn, perhaps that has a lot to do with it. Also, we eat a lot of farina wheat cereals, yogurt and spinach salads. I’ve lost over 30 pounds the past year as well.

Open Question: Why is my 2001 Ford Mustang chugging hard and dying?

I have a 2001 Ford Mustang, auto trans V6. At first it shimmied/vibrated in second gear but was fine other than that. Then it started chugging like it was going to die when it was in reverse. Now it is much worse. I started it and it was chugging pretty hard. It evened out somewhat when I was driving it down the street. Then the check engine light began to blink, it acted like it was going to die at stoplights and it was chugging pretty hard the whole time. I lost some acceleration capability too.

I went up to Autozone and had them run a test to tell me why the engine light was on. The readout said
Cylinder misfire detected-cylinder number 3.
Explanation: The powertrain control module monitors the crankshaft speed and has detected a misfire condition.
Probable causes:
1. ignition system fault-spark plug(s), ignition wires, coil
2. vacuum leak
3. injector fault
4. high or low fuel pressure

Now I’ve had a similiar problem on a much smaller scale, about a year ago, and it came up with the same readout. The problem went away by itself. I have a feeling that won’t be the case here.

I have kept up on all my routine maintenance, except maybe the trand fluid and filter and there’s 130,000 mi on the car. All other gauges and lights read fine (except the service engine soon light of course).

Any siggestions would be greatly appreciated! I posted a question earlier with the same conditions, before it got so bad, and almost no one answered! PLEASE HELP!
Also, is there any way to test the ignition coil myself? I know that auto parts stores will do it for you. Is that something I can drive up there, take it out, have them test it and I’ll put it back in?

Open Question: I understand how our blood is created and how it regulates through our body but…?

where does our blood go? Like if our blood pressure is too high that means we have too much blood in our system right? so where does the blood go in our bodies?

And what happens to our blood vessels that get cut off completely? Ie i get my arm chopped off and the blood vessels in my arm come to a complete stop how does the blood flow through my arm when the blood vessels have been severed

I’m not sure what sparked this. No one in school ever pressured me to. I actually never really heard about cutting as a problem till high school when a girl in my gym class had cuts on her stomach and people started to talk. My cuts on my arms are from beach week, but people are idiots and believe whatever you tell them. I’m realizing now how unhappy I am, but have been to multiple therapists and councilors since 8th grade. This past break, my mom mentioned that my cuts on my arms look fresh and have multiplied. I told her I only do it once a semester, and all she said to me was to stop it…the scars will last forever. Any suggestions? No one around me understands.

Open Question: Which alcoholic beverage is safest for people with high blood pressure?

I have heard that wine, whiskey, and cognac, so far is good, and of course I’m talking about dry red wine. Any other suggestions? Or can you just confirm what I have been told?

I found it odd that the nurse took my BP, then the doc. He started asking me about how much salt/caffeine I took immediately and I told him not much (because I really don’t).

I’m in good physical shape…go to the gym 4x/week…and eat healthy for the most part. Work hasn’t been stressing me out…but it’s been boreing me out of my mind…but I figured that was normal.

Should I be worried about my BP?

Voting Question: Low pressure in Bathtub Faucet?

Recently the hot and cold water stems got new washers cause they were leaking. Now the water pressure from both hot and cold, or combined is running really slow. The shower pressure is fine, it’s just the bathtub faucet that the water is slow. Anyone got ideas?
The low pressure IS IN THE TUB FAUCET ONLY and the washers were the right size.
