Ok, so I am in high school, and theres this girl that i like. We talk every day, hang out at lunch(with her best friend[a girl] and some other guye from my class), and hang out after school.(We’re not alone, her best friend[same girl] is always there too.

About 2 days ago, we were just walking around the school building after school. And i asked her who do you like? And her friend blurted out THE GUY WITH THE BRAIDS……………………., that she hugged in the hallway.

I HAVE BRAIDS…the guy she hugged, she almost never talks to. I’m *think* im the only person with braids that she knows…

I THINK she likes me…but sometimes shes like…go away i dont know if shes joking…but i walk away..(not when were walking outside, like in class)

I want to ask her out, but i dont know IF i should, or when.

My birthday, is in 6 days.

Do i ask her out then? I’m thinking i shouldnt because what if the ‘dosent’ like me…then will i put her under too much pressure to say yes since its my birthday?….what do i doo?

OK… so a while ago I was at one of my friends house… it was me, him, his brother, and another friend(a bit confusing haha)

but we went downstairs and started screwing around… and for some reason they have a fully stocked bar… bad-ass I know haha… but I’m a sensible kind of guy, for 15 that is… and I thought I knew that underage drinking is bad… but EVERYONE does it… my sister did it when she was in high school, and so on… But we got on the subject of beer pong (they just so happened to have a ping pong table right next to the bar) and we started to play… I didn’t want to drink, so i quit…

so if underage drinking so bad, why don’t more people get f*cked up by alcohol?

Just a simple question about ethics I suppose…

And I completely understand that its against the law…
I guess what I’m asking is if underage drinking is really as bad as its racked up to be
So I know the stereotypical 15 year old kid whose into girls and drugs and alcohol doesn’t have the best judgment… but I just not that guy who drinks constantly, nor do I want to be…But my sister was a huge party-er and still is… but she had straight A’s … which is hard to do but she pulled it off…

I’m not going to follow her lead by partying EVERY weekend… only for special occasions like homecoming, Prom, etc

I’m currently running CO2 in my custom 98 (the one before it came standard with the ACT) and would like to change to HPA - because the fields that are near me (I live in northern Canada) offer free HPA, and sometimes this is all they have. I’m willing to spend $200 on a decent tank.

I do notice that the tanks usually come in 2 models - low and high pressure. Which one should I purchase?

This Porter Cable Model C2005 6gal.2.6 SCFM fails to reliably cut on when the pressure drops to the cut in point. It seems to try several times before it finally cuts in. It then reaches the high pressure point and cuts off. Then it seems to be purging the air. When it works well I don’t hear that noise. What do you think the problem is? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I work out quite a bit, but I wouldn’t say it’s ridiculous. I’ve been active all my life and basically play a sport a day. (2 hours of bball or an hour of soccer.

I’m a normal BMI at 175 lbs and 5′11” tall. I have a pretty good diet of banana a day subway(grilled chicken sub.) for lunch and random stuff for dinner. I would by no means say I eat horrible. My resting heart rate is normally in the 70’s or 80’s though. My blood pressure is also in the 130’s. I am 25 and my family has a history of heart disease and high blood pressure.

How can I lower these scores? or do I have to go get drugs from a doctor? I’d rather not get drugs…..

ive been taking 36mgs of concerta for about a month and last saterday me and some friends were drinking big apple bacardi and dragonberry bacardi ive felt weak and like shit all week. and 2day i took 2 concertas to focus more so it would be 72mg then i went to the doc cuz my heart rate and blood pressure were too high. and now i feel really weak and out of it.

ps Im gnna be 15 in dec and cant tell my dad i drank so pplz just tell me what to do to help myself… i cant tell my dad or doc bcuz of my substance abuse in the past.

are psychology experiments open to have an outside variable, other than the independent and dependent? Or does it defeat the perpose? Please help me understand, thank you
ex. of a experiment:

Goal: In this experimental study, will see weather pressure from our peers have an influence on our quality of delay of gratification . There may or may not be a relationship between our choice of friends and our quality of delay of gratification. We need to be aware of an outside variable.

Participants: the participants of this experimental study will be both male, and female, from a college biology class. lets say there are coincidentally a equal amount of males and females: Twenty male, twenty female. Five students from each gender will be in on the experiment. They’re job is to influence their peers to go to the dance instead of the lecture. For participating in the experiment they will receive 20% of extra credit, with regards to not give the idea of the experiment away to peers. ( this will not be the experiment determining gender strengths in delay of gratification; although it is an example.)

Collecting Data: The biology professors offers 20% of extra credit to any of the forty students( actually 30) who attend his two hour lecture. The lecture is during a campus dance. The dance is also only two hours long. Students will have to sing in, with their student I.D. for both the lecture and dance. After decisions are made and done, data will be collected to identify which students from the biology class went to the dance, and which ones went to the lecture.

Expectations: My hypothesis for this experiment was that more girls would actually attend the lecture than boys. Determining that females have a higher quality of delay of gratification, and are less pressured by peers. Males are less concerned with the “reward”, do not have strong sence of self dicipline, and are more easily pressured by peers.
